Getting started with the Nexudus MCP Server

The Nexudus MCP Server lets you connect AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT directly to your Nexudus account. Once connected, you can ask questions and make changes using plain English, without navigating the admin panel.

How it works

There’s nothing to install. You connect your AI assistant to https://mcp.nexudus.com and log in with your existing Nexudus credentials. From that point, the AI can read and update data in your account on your behalf.

In addition, the MCP Server works with Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and VS Code with GitHub Copilot. Step-by-step setup guides for each are available at learn.nexudus.com/mcp/overview.

What you can do with it

Once connected, you can ask your AI assistant to do things like:

• Pull live reports (“How many check-ins did we have this week?”)
• Check visitor schedules for a location
• Create or update bookings, products, and invoices
• Run multi-step tasks (“For every member on this plan, send an invoice”)

The AI uses your live Nexudus data to answer questions and carry out actions — the same data and operations available through the admin panel.

A note on privacy

The Nexudus MCP Server redacts member personal data — including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses before returning a response. You can opt in to seeing real data on the sign-in page when you need to.

Additionally, your session is scoped to your own account, so the server only ever accesses what your login can access. Keep in mind that the information you directly type into the AI prompts cannot be redacted, so avoid typing personal information where possible.

A note on AI behaviour

As with any AI assistant, responses are not always deterministic — they can occasionally misunderstand a request or take an unintended action. We recommend reviewing what the assistant is about to do before confirming changes, particularly for bulk operations. The good practice guide covers this in more detail.
