Improved Location Filtering in Drop-down Menus

What’s new in Nexudus Admin Panel

We’ve now made location filtering easier, allowing admins to see the right items for the right location when working in their account.

Previously, dropdown menus displayed items and customers from all locations, even when a specific location was selected in the location picker.

This happened because the location filter only applied to list views. In other parts of the system, once you moved into the next section such as creating a booking, or adding a sales item to the customer record in the Admin Panel, dropdown selections would show items relating to every location.

As a result, it could sometimes be difficult to quickly find the correct location-specific resources or sales items when creating bookings or adding items within a customer account.

How does it work now?

When adding items within a customer account from within the Sales tab or directly from tiles like Bookings, there are now two clear controls:

Current location: To view results related to the specific location
All Locations: View items or customers across every location. This option is selected by default.

For example, when creating a booking from the Bookings tile in the Operations module, you can choose whether to view all customers or only customers associated with the current location.

You can also choose whether to book a resource from the current location or view resources from all locations.

Where this applies

The Current location and All locations filters are now available across the platform, wherever location-specific records can be selected or filtered.

These controls are available when working within the Customer Account for:

• Contracts
• Products
• Bookings (including from the Bookings tile in the Operations module)
• Events
• Other Charges

This improvement also applies across related modules such as CRM, Community, Finance, Operations, and Inventory. For customers with a single location, these filters are disabled.

These changes make it easier to view all location items when needed.
