Passport is taking flight
From 14 August, the new Passport experience will begin rolling out automatically over the following weeks.
We’ve rebuilt Passport to deliver a more consistent experience across desktop and mobile, so new improvements reach both destinations at the same time.
Everything you need to know about the rollout is right here in the Passport Lounge.

The new Passport brings a faster, more modern experience for your members, for better member journeys today and faster improvements tomorrow.
New in Passport
- Faster bookings and payments
- Upfront payments, invoices issued later
- AI that guides bookings and answers questions
- E-commerce buying experiences
- Self-service payment management for every member
- Biometric sign-in for quick, secure access
- Push notifications and quick actions
- Check-in via on-screen QR code
- Easier customisations and consistent branding
What’s on your members’ horizon?
Members won’t need to create new accounts or change the way they use Passport. Their bookings, memberships and payment details stay exactly as they are. They’ll simply enjoy a more modern experience with new features becoming available over time.
Passport will roll out gradually over several weeks, so not every member will receive the update on the same day.

FAQs before boarding
No : ) Passport will update through the normal app store update process.
Unfortunately we can’t give you a precise date.
App updates are released in stages and availability can vary by device and app store.
The app will look very different. We’ve built it to be as intuitive as possible and have introduced new features that give you more control and your members much better experiences that make it easier for them to discover, book and pay.
The app provides an e-commerce booking and buying experience, where members can book and pay for things however you want them to.
They can pay upfront and be invoiced later or add items to their account and pay later.
Nothing. All of your smart access integrations will run as before.
Some settings have changed for ease of use. Instead of managing the app separately, you’ll manage branding, pages and shared settings in one place, with changes reflected across both the Members Portal and Passport where applicable. This is powerful, giving you the ability to update all of your locations at once.
White label users are not included in this rollout. Branded app customers will be included in Phase Two and we’ll reach out nearer the time.
Passport and the Members Portal now share the same foundation, delivering a consistent experience across web and mobile while making future improvements available faster.
You can still use the new Passport app. Your branding, settings and member data stay exactly as they are. When you’re ready to move to the new Members Portal, Passport will already be there waiting for you.
No. The rollout is automatic and will happen gradually over several weeks.
Not necessarily, but we recommend it. You can use the member email template in the section above these FAQs to tell members about the benefits of the new app.
You can email us at success@nexudus.com if you have any questions before or after the rollout.
