What’s new in Nexudus Admin Panel

Salto disconnection alert banner

If Salto, an access control system, disconnects, then a banner will be displayed on the Admin Panel dashboard.

This update is going to be super helpful in instances where only some spaces experience their access control system disconnecting, and it isn’t a widespread issue.

Previously, when an access control system disconnected, only a single email notification was sent to the admin. However, we noticed that this email was easily missed and when the access control system wasn’t reconnected, it would cause major disruption. The banner will be displayed in all locations within a network so it increases visibility for admins. The name of the location Salto has disconnected is displayed in bold in the message.

View integration

Clicking View integration on the banner will take the admin directly to the integration page, where they can reconnect the integration.

The message will also appear in the Important messages section, which admins can access by clicking the bell icon in the top right corner of the Admin Panel.

Dismiss message

It is important to note that the banner will not automatically be removed from the Dashboard or Important Messages sections when Salto is reconnected. An admin will need to click the Dismiss message.

In the future, we will look at extending this functionality to other access control systems.
