Recurring Bookings are live in Nexudus!

From now on, your members can make Recurring Bookings in Nexudus. And we’ve made sure this feature works for any member’s schedule.

Does someone want the same desk every day? A certain meeting room every Tuesday morning? Perhaps a team needs a private office on uneven days each week, like Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, or just once a month for a board meeting? Whatever your members’ rhythms, they can now book space on repeat.

Smarter settings give operators full control

We know that giving space managers and operators granular control is key. Recurring Bookings lets you decide exactly how resources can be booked, helping you manage your space with a clear bookings roadmap ahead.

You can enable and configure this feature for each space. By default, recurring bookings are turned off, giving you the power to activate them precisely where they make sense for your business model and planned events.

Once you enable the feature, you can then set flexible limits, like controlling how many bookings members can create at once. This means you can manage volume and ensure fair usage, preventing any single member from monopolising popular resources.

You can also define how far into the future bookings can be scheduled. This helps you balance long-term predictability while being able to adapt to changing demand or special events.

Meanwhile, members can schedule in any pattern

We built Recurring Bookings to match people’s widely different, preferred schedules.

Here’s what we’ve built in:

  1. One-time visits
Sometimes a space is needed for a single moment. Our system makes this straightforward, allowing for quick, one-off bookings when no repetition is needed.
  2. Every workday (Monday to Friday)
For members who need consistent desk space or a private office for their standard workweek. They can set it once, and it’s booked for weeks on end.
  3. Every week on a specific day
Perfect for regular weekly catch-ups, team meetings, or personal focus sessions. The system is smart enough to dynamically label the option based on their first selected day, like this: “Repeat every week on Monday,” making the setup intuitive.
  4. Custom scheduling
This is where the power for varied schedules comes in. The options look like this:

Weekly repeat on specific days
Members can pick any combination of days within a week (like just Tuesdays and Thursdays, or Monday, Wednesday, Friday), and their booking repeats only on those. Perfect for today’s typical work patterns.

Monthly repeat
For longer-term, less frequent needs, members can set a booking to repeat on the same day each month – ideal for regular board meetings or monthly check-ins.

Extra UX makes using the feature easier

We’ve also thought about small things that make a big difference for users. Here’s what else we’ve built into Recurring Bookings.

Booking conflicts
If someone tries to set up a recurring series and some slots are already taken, our system flags these conflicts. Members get a message and can easily adjust the conflicting dates or skip them, helping them book what’s available without hassle.

Automated end date adjustments
What happens when a member sets a “Repeat until” date that falls on a non-working day or weekend? We’ve set Recurring Bookings to auto-adjust the final booking to the nearest preceding workday.

Members control every Recurring Booking from one place
From their list of bookings, members can easily remove a single booking instance, delete an entire series, or edit multiple bookings within a series, providing full autonomy.

Notifications are being tweaked
Right now, all booking confirmations for a recurring series are sent out at once. We’re actively gathering feedback post-release so we can evolve our notification system based on customers’ input.
