Fractional office packages give you the flexibility to contract your offices or units to different customers on different days! For example, one customer could rent a small office space on Mondays – Tuesdays and another customer could rent the same office space on Wednesdays – Fridays.

Packages can also be used to sell different offerings for a single unit, for example, different furnishing packages such as a basic or premium furnishing.

Let’s take a look at how to do this in the Admin Panel.

Creating packages

First, you’ll need to ensure you have the relevant floor plan units created.

To add a new package:

1. Open the floor plan unit record and select the Packages tab.
2. Click + Add package.
3. Enter the package name.
4. If applicable, update the size, capacity and price. The unit’s default size, capacity and price will be shown.
5. By default, the This package is available every day of the week toggle will be enabled. Disable this to select the specific days this package is available.

Each offering will need a separate package. For example, you’d need to create three packages for the following offerings: Monday-Tuesday, Wednesday-Friday and Saturday-Sunday.

The reported occupancy is calculated based on the number of days the package is offered. So, for example, if you have a contract for the weekend package, the reporting will show the occupancy as 28.57% out of 100% because you can still create other contracts for the remaining days of the week.

This is also reflected in the Reports. Using the same example as above, if the weekend package was contracted for the full month, then the report will show the occupancy percentage as 28.75%. Each package will have its own line in the report.

Selecting a package in a proposal or contract

When you create a proposal or contract for a unit with a package, an additional field, Packages, will appear in the Price section.

Simply select the relevant package from the drop-down menu.

Enable the Target price toggle to use the price of the package as the contract price.
