New Feature! - Marketing Insights for Nexudus (beta)

At the core of every thriving coworking space is its community. This has been true since the early days of the coworking movement, and it still holds today. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of visiting many coworking spaces worldwide. One thing that stands out is how diverse these communities are and how they thrive in spaces designed for collaboration and connection.

From day one, our mission has been simple: to help coworking space managers better manage, understand, and support their communities. After all, managers are the heartbeat of the coworking ecosystem—the ones who bring people together and keep the community alive. We want to give you more time to focus on that vital role by taking care of the operational heavy lifting.

When Nexudus began in 2012, coworking spaces were generally smaller, and communities were more tightly knit. Space managers could interact with members daily, getting to know them personally. But as coworking has evolved—spaces growing in size and complexity—it’s become harder to maintain that same level of closeness with every member.

We believe technology can step in to help bridge this gap. That’s why we’ve been working on tools to support you. Today, we’re excited to introduce Marketing Insights with the Customer Segments module, now available in beta. (Your feedback will be invaluable in shaping its future!)

This new feature is here to help you offer a more personalized experience, better engage with members, and gain valuable insights into your community. By understanding your members more deeply, you can create tailored experiences that make your coworking space feel even more special.

What Are Customer Segments in Nexudus?

The Customer Segments feature uses a marketing approach called Analytics Segmentation. It groups your members based on shared characteristics, making it easier to connect with them in meaningful ways.

How Customer Segments Can Help Your Coworking Space

  • Personalized Communication: Knowing which members share common interests means you can send updates, offers, or event invites to the people who will find them most relevant. This approach makes members feel seen and appreciated.
  • Targeted Marketing Campaigns: Have a new meeting room package for larger teams? Planning a social event just for freelancers? By using segmented data, you can craft marketing campaigns that speak directly to the interests of specific groups.
  • Smarter Resource Allocation: Understanding how different segments use your space—like frequent meeting room users versus hot desk members—helps you plan staffing, resources, and facilities more efficiently. You could even use this information alongside our Trends module to offer perks during quieter times.

Data-Driven Decisions

Whether you’re reviewing membership pricing, planning events, or expanding your space, segmentation gives you the insights to focus on what matters most.

Tips for Getting the Most Out of Customer Segments

  • Start Small: The module highlights key segments in your Nexudus account. Start with one or two groups and try a small campaign to see how segmentation works in practice.
  • Keep Member Data Updated: Make sure your member information is accurate so your segments remain relevant.
  • Use Segments to Grow: Spot cross-selling or upselling opportunities. For example, members who frequently book meeting rooms might be ready to upgrade to a private office.
  • Review and Adjust: Communities evolve, and your segmentation strategy should too. Regularly review your segments to keep them aligned with your goals.

As coworking continues to grow and mature, offering a personal touch makes all the difference. The Customer Segments feature helps you better understand your members so you can engage with them more effectively, improve retention, and enhance their overall experience.

We’re excited to see how you’ll use this new tool, and we’d love to hear your feedback so we can make it even better.
