In this report, we analyse how the flexible workspace industry has evolved from January 2016 to September 2021 and how the pandemic has affected the industry's development. Although this stage has been a challenge for managers and owners, the spaces have adapted to the market and the new needs of users. With data collected from over 90 countries, this is the most in-depth report into Coworking and Flexible workspaces to date, and we hone in specifically on the US, the UK and Spanish markets to analyse them comparatively.
Key Findings
In this report, we will take a look at the flexible workspace industry in the US from both a macro and micro perspective, and try to shed light on how, what, when and at what price users access the different resources that flexible workspaces make available to them (such as a meeting room, a hot desk, an event room or a booth, but also tools such as laser cutters or 3D printers). We will also see how spaces are maximising the profit they obtain through their use.
Key Findings
In this report, we take a detailed look at how flexible workspace users in the UK accessed the resources made available to them from January 2016 to September 2021. These insights shed light on how resources are accessed and their profitability, and how this changes based on workspace size.
Key Findings
As we did previously with the US and UK markets, we are now going to take a closer look at the Spanish market, both from a macro and micro perspective, to find out how users of flexible workspaces in this country use resources (such as a meeting room, a hot desk, an event room or a booth, but also tools such as laser cutters or 3D printers). How does the mean price of a booking vary depending on the type of user who is using it? How does the size of a space affect the booking price of its resources? These are some of the questions we answer in this report.
